What can this book do for you?

Many of us have been taught our faith from childhood. But numerous aspects of faith are not always reasonable and many of us have had doubts about different aspects of our faith or religion. This book shows it is possible for you to have doubts and to still have a rich spirituality and even be religious, without insulting your rational or thinking brain. However, many of us do not have the necessary background in biology or science to answer these doubting questions. This book is designed to easily provide that background. The following are some of the many questions that the thinking faithful may have. They can be answered without threatening your spirituality.

Why is my spirituality so comforting to me?

Can humans be moral without religion?  Is morality hard wired into humans?

Do we have a spritual brain?  If so where is it?  How did it arise?  Is it hardwired into our brain?

Is there a soul or spirit that persists after we die?

Would criminal and antisocial behavior be common without religious or secular laws?

Did God create man or did man create God?

Did God dictate the writing of our sacred books or are they purely written by man?

Is my religion better that the religion of others?

Did psychadelic plants contribute to the spiritual development of man?

Is Darwin's theory of evolution incompatible with religion?

Can the sudden appearance of many new life forms in the Cambrian period (The Cambrian Explosion) only be explained as a result of God's creation?

Are mutations to rare for evolution to occur?

How did life originate on earth? Was the origin of life so difficult that only God could have done it?

Is the earth 4.5 billion years old or less than 10,000 years old?

Does the Big Bang, where the universe seems to have been created out of nothing, prove that God exists?

Does the fact than many of the physical constants had to be just right for life to exist, mean the universe was created by God?
